After reading "Is Blogging Journalism" by Gina Masullo Chen, I've concluded that I completely agree with her. Blogging is NOT Journalism. Blogging is a way of making yourself heard and discussing what you want to discuss. It gives you a voice.
Journalism has changed in many ways. Nowadays when people want information they get on the internet or look it up on any device that has the internet, instead of getting the newspaper or getting a magazine. The Newspaper and most magazine companys are suffering due to changes in the way we live. We depend so much on the internet. You can get online and pay bills, order things online (including pizza), check grades, do research, and many more. Not to mention all the social networks like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I think that we just need to accept the fact that the further we go on into the future, everything is going to change. Our grandparents didn't live the way our parents did, and our parents didn't grow up the way we're growing up.
